The House of Elrick estate is a home which is rich in history nestled away in the lowlands of Aberdeenshire. It was built at the height of the Scottish Enlightenment period in 1720 and has only passed hands 5 times in 300 years. It was the home of an entrepreneurial family of cattle farmers and millers who traveled a lot bringing back tales of new science and philosophical learnings. Once visited by Bonnie Prince Charlie the estate was gifted the Jacobite Rose which now sits growing beautifully in the walled garden in the heart of the grounds.
Their handcrafted artisan gin is made with botanicals which are hand-picked by their Master of Gin. These include juniper, coriander seeds, angelica root, citrus peel, heather, pink peppercorns, sweet fennel and rose petals.
The water used in this beautifully crafted gin comes from the Loch Ness, it is the only spirit which is made with this water resulting in a fresh, earthy and bold infusion of flavours.
We recommend you try this beautiful artisan gin with Franklin and Sons tonic and an orange twist.
