Made by the Death’s Door Spirits Company, in America, this gin has a surprisingly simple botanical mix, of juniper, coriander and fennel, considering its’ ”punch.”
The juniper grows wild, on Washington Island, and the fennel and coriander, is also sourced from within the state.
The base spirit is Washington Island wheat and malted barley from Chilton, Wisconsin.
The gin has a London Dry flavour, but is less bitter, due to the extraction process and base spirit used.
Fantastic in a Martini, or as any cocktail base, to be frank, we also love this over ice with a slice of pear.
