Description
Exactly what it says on the bottle….Pink!
And it’s a delight. Infact, this was the very first pink gin, that Atlas stocked, back in 2012; it is also the first pink gin to be produced in London.
This is a fruit pink gin, which is driven by the pomegranate added, post distillation.
Edgerton pink includes 14 other botanicals. They are:
juniper, liquorice, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon, orange, cassia bark, almond powder, savory, grains of paradise, corriander seeds, orris root and damiana: the honeymoon herb from Mexico!
This gin packs a punch, at 47% ABV, so it’s best enjoyed with a tonic such as 1724 and either an orange or raspberry garnish.
For a sharper taste, we love it with a pink grapefruit garnish and Schweppes tonic.
