The world’s first botanically brewed tonic water is made with a blend of herbal infusions and lemongrass extract which creates a refreshing and unique mixer.
Thomas Fentiman was an iron puddler, from Cleckheaton, and in 1905 was approached for a loan.
A deal was struck and a recipe for botanically brewed ginger beer was created.
The loan was never re-paid, so Thomas became the owner of the recipe.
The rest is history!
It’s also great to know that his great-grandson, still runs the business, today.
This is a truly premium tonic water, and was called ”perfection” in a G&T, by The Guardian newspaper’s drinks critic.
