The juniper is also only from one location; in this case, the sunny slopes of Arezzo, in Italy.
The intent of this brand is to demonstrate the differences that location has on the juniper flavour, and it is a unique product in the ever growing world of artisan gins.
Along with your bottle of Origin, you also receive a 10ml vial, which contains a cold-distilled mixture of botanicals, which will take your gin to a more traditional gin profile.
The botanicals in the vial are:
coriander, orange, lemon, cadamom, angelica, cassia bark, liquorice, chamomile and cubeb berries.
The Origin team have certainly hit on something, though. This gin won Gold at the World Gin Awards.
